The M1 Model features a roll-bar to facilitate the anchor rolling over even in a soft silty bottom.  This eliminates the need for a nose ballast, giving the most efficient and streamlined fluke cross section. M1 anchor shank shape is designed that  the anchor self deploys in most bow roller arrangements.
